My heart is always full of love and hope. In the midst of all the chaos and uncertainty we find ourselves in, I want to remind each and every one of you of the incredible beauty that lives within. Humanity is capable of real love, compassion, and understanding, even when you sometimes think you have lost the capacity to love.
My dream has always been to see a world where love and kindness are the norm. I dream of a world where you see each other not as strangers, but instead as a connected part of you. Because all sentient beings are so connected.
I hope for a world where kindness becomes the norm again, where you extend a helping hand whenever possible, and a world where you listen to one another with empathy and respect. I wish for a world where you understand that you are not as different or separate from each other as you have come to believe.
I believe in humanity’s capacity for transformation, growth, and healing.
I have been there right beside you in your most desperate moments, and when you have forgotten, I have helped you to remember how wonderful you truly are at the core of your being.
You are not what happened to you, you are not your body, you are not your history. You are so much more than that. In the face of adversity, you can create beauty from your pain. Yes you can.
Hope isn’t the only thing that will transform humanity. It is not enough. It is my deep wish that you take action, that one by one, you make the conscious choice to be the change that you want to see for a world in desperate need of love.
Love is not a passive emotion; it is a force of nature that can move mountains, heal wounds, and build bridges where there are walls.
Look around you and notice the loving kindnesses that the human race performs on a daily basis. From the random acts of kindness, to rebuilding what was seemingly lost, you have the chance to build on those memories and continue to make them your guide as you move forward. Love must know no boundaries, no walls, no division.
I want you to know that my love for you, humanity, is boundless and unwavering. I will continue to make it my mission to light up the darkness, and to help people around the world make love their compass.
